Download

Choose amd64 or arm64. Both packages are below.

Version 1.1.1 · Linux (x86_64 and ARM64)

Requirements: Linux (x86_64 and ARM64). Existing settings and cleaning history stay in place when you upgrade.

Install

The .deb and apt packages run on Ubuntu 24.04 or newer and other Debian-based distributions with glibc 2.38+ and GTK 4.12+. Save the package, open a terminal in that directory, and install the file you downloaded:

sudo apt install ./devcleaner-linux_1.1.1_amd64.deb
sudo apt install ./devcleaner-linux_1.1.1_arm64.deb

SHA-256

amd64 fb07a599c809253e3b929c5e03eace53a819bd8064213d77d2506faa9f20320b

Apt repository

The apt repository is https://devcleaner.app/apt/, suite stable, component main, architectures amd64 and arm64. The package does not add this repository. Add the keyring and the deb822 source, then install:

sudo install -d -m 0755 /usr/share/keyrings
curl -fsSL https://devcleaner.app/apt/devcleaner-archive-keyring.gpg | sudo tee /usr/share/keyrings/devcleaner-archive-keyring.gpg >/dev/null
curl -fsSL https://devcleaner.app/apt/devcleaner.sources | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/devcleaner.sources >/dev/null
sudo apt update
sudo apt install devcleaner-linux

The package in this repository is the same version and has the same contents as the direct .deb download on this page. The apt pool .deb is built by the apt channel and has its own checksum. Apt verifies that checksum automatically from the signed repository. Later versions from the repository install with sudo apt upgrade.

AppImage

The AppImage is one file for x86_64 and one file for aarch64. It works on most modern distributions. It is tested on Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04, and Fedora 41. Ubuntu 24.04 needs the libfuse2t64 package to run it. If that package is not installed, start the file with --appimage-extract-and-run. The AppImage checks the signed Linux feed and replaces its own file when a newer AppImage is published.

Safety comes first

A cleanup app should make it clear what will be removed. Review the results before you clean.
