This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your use of DevCleaner and its Pro features.
DevCleaner ("Software") is licensed to you, not sold. BO Gastro Services s.r.o. ("Licensor") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on your Mac, subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement.

The free tier is available perpetually at no cost.
Pro features include: Auto Clean (scheduled background cleanup), Smart Triggers (cleanup when dev apps quit), and Project Hibernation (archive and restore inactive projects).
Activation: To use Pro features, you must activate a valid license key in the app (Settings → License). Each license key can be activated on up to 3 of your Macs simultaneously.
Trial: A 14-day free Pro trial is available once per device, requiring only email capture. Trial access cannot be extended or renewed.
License keys are validated against our license server at activation and periodically during use. If validation fails, Pro features become unavailable.
Offline Grace: If you lose internet connectivity, the Software continues to allow Pro feature use for up to 14 days based on the last successful validation, then requires re-validation.
Expiration: Yearly licenses expire on the anniversary of purchase and must be renewed. Lifetime licenses do not expire.
You can deactivate your license from Settings to free up an activation slot on another Mac. If you activate on more than 3 Macs, older activations are automatically replaced.
Mac Identification: Each Mac is identified by a unique instance ID generated on first activation. Changing the Mac's storage (SSD replacement, major OS reinstall) may generate a new ID.
Yearly Plan: $9.99 per year. Renews automatically on each anniversary. You can cancel anytime through your email receipt link (Stripe Customer Portal) or by contacting hello@devcleaner.app. No refund is issued for partial years.
Lifetime Plan — Early Bird: $29 for the first 100 licenses. One-time purchase; no renewal or expiration.
Lifetime Plan — Regular: $59 after early-bird phase. One-time purchase; no renewal or expiration.
Cancellation: Cancelling your subscription stops access to Pro features at the end of the current billing period. The Software remains installed but falls back to free-tier functionality.
You may not:
Local Processing: All file operations happen on your Mac. Your code and file contents never leave your computer.
License Validation: When you activate or validate your license, we receive your license key, a unique instance ID for your Mac, your Mac's name, and your email address (if provided). This data is used only to manage your license and is stored securely.
Offline Grace: The app can validate your license once and then work offline for up to 14 days based on that last validation. No data is sent during offline use.
Revalidation: Your license is revalidated periodically when online to check expiry status and activation limits. This is necessary to enforce the license terms (e.g., max 3 Macs per license).

The Software is provided "AS IS" without any warranty, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
No Warranty for File Safety: While DevCleaner is designed to safely clean caches and build artifacts, the Software cannot guarantee that all deletions are reversible or that no data loss will occur. You are responsible for backing up your data before use.
The Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to data loss, system damage, lost profits) arising from your use of the Software, even if advised of such possibility.
The Licensor's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software in the past 12 months, or $0 if you used only the free tier.
This license is effective until terminated. The Licensor may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using Pro features and may reinstall the free tier.
The Licensor may update the Software or its features at any time. Updates are delivered via the app's update mechanism and do not require re-activation.

The Software uses third-party libraries and services, including but not limited to Stripe for payments and license validation. These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of the Software constitutes acceptance of those policies.
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any dispute arising from this agreement shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration.
The Licensor reserves the right to modify this EULA at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
