License Agreement

Consumer rights. This License Agreement explains your permission to use the software. It does not exclude warranties, guarantees, refunds or other rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

1. Parties and scope

This agreement is between you and BO Gastro Services s.r.o., Kaprova 42/14, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 24165590 (the “Licensor”). It applies to the DevCleaner software and its app-based features. Purchase, renewal and cancellation terms are also described in the Terms of Service and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

2. License grant

When you comply with this agreement, the Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use DevCleaner for personal or internal business development work. One license may be activated on up to three Macs under your control at the same time. You may not share one individual license among unrelated users or resell it.

The free tier is available without a paid license. A Pro license unlocks the Pro features identified in the app and at purchase. “Lifetime” means a one-time paid license with no subscription renewal or scheduled expiry; it does not promise that every online service or feature will exist forever.

3. Trial, paid access and validation

A 14-day Pro trial may be offered once per eligible device or license. A trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. A yearly license renews as described at checkout until cancelled. A lifetime license does not renew.

The app may validate or revalidate your license online. If online validation is unavailable, Pro features may continue for up to 14 days after the last successful validation. After that period the app may require a connection to revalidate the license. A license may be deactivated in Settings to free an activation slot; where the limit is exceeded, older activations may be replaced.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for deciding which files to remove and for keeping backups of data you need. DevCleaner is a cleanup utility; some removed caches or artifacts may be difficult or impossible to recreate. Do not use it on files or systems you are not authorised to manage.

You may not use a license key to bypass activation, distribute keys publicly, or enable access for users outside the license grant. You may not use the software unlawfully or interfere with its security. These limits do not restrict acts that applicable law expressly permits, including legally permitted reverse engineering, security research or interoperability.

5. Data and privacy

Scanning and cleanup are performed locally. The app does not send file paths, contents, project names or tool names through those operations. Optional app usage sharing, trial administration, license validation, cloud sync, ratings and feedback may send the information described in the Privacy Policy. You can turn off app usage sharing in Settings → General → Privacy. Some trial and license information is necessary to provide the feature you request and is not controlled by that setting.

6. Third-party and open-source software

DevCleaner may include third-party and open-source components. Their applicable license notices govern those components and are supplied with the software where required. Payment, email, hosting and other providers operate under their own agreements with us or you as applicable. Installing DevCleaner does not by itself mean you accept unrelated third-party terms.

7. Updates and support

We may provide updates, security fixes and changes to features. Where applicable law requires updates or continued support for a consumer digital product, we will comply with that obligation. For help, email hello@devcleaner.app or use Settings → Support.

8. Conformity and statutory rights

Where you are a consumer, mandatory legal guarantees and remedies for digital content or services continue to apply. This agreement does not exclude a statutory right to have non-conforming software brought into conformity, obtain another remedy, or receive a refund where the law provides one.

9. Warranty statement

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every individual purpose. We do not guarantee that a particular cleanup will be reversible. This statement does not exclude any express product description, mandatory consumer guarantee, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Where a monetary limit is allowed, the Licensor's total liability for claims concerning the software is limited to the amount paid for the affected license in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury where the law prohibits that limit, or any mandatory consumer right or remedy. The liability limit does not apply where local law does not permit it.

11. Suspension and termination

This license continues until it expires or is terminated. You may stop using the software at any time. We may suspend or terminate Pro access for a material breach, fraud, a security risk or a legal requirement; where reasonably possible, we will give notice and a chance to fix a breach. Termination does not affect accrued rights, statutory remedies or any part of the free tier that remains available.

12. Governing law and disputes

Czech law governs this agreement, except that a consumer keeps mandatory protections under the law of their country of habitual residence where applicable. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear a dispute. This agreement does not require consumers to use binding arbitration.

13. Changes

We may update this agreement for future use. We will post the current version and its date. Material changes affecting an existing paid license will be communicated or agreed where required by law; changes will not remove accrued rights or mandatory protections.
