Diagnostic logs
DevCleaner writes scan and command events to its log folder at ~/Library/Logs/DevCleaner/. In Settings, use Open Log Folder when support asks for a log. Logs rotate daily; DevCleaner retains the most recent five files, each capped at 2 MB.
Verbose logging
Enable Verbose logging in Settings only while investigating a problem. It adds detail such as pipe-drain byte counts to the normal scan and command events. Turn it off again after reproducing the issue so logs remain focused.
Anonymous statistics
The Share anonymous stats control in Settings lets you opt out of anonymised launch and cleanup metrics. DevCleaner does not use file paths or file contents for those metrics. Read the Privacy Policy for the complete, current policy.
Before sending logs to support, review them and include only the files relevant to the issue. A deletion manifest from History is often helpful alongside a log.
